Achievements: 2nd place in competition for a new logo for the label
Despite not being wildly versed with dubstep as a genre or even particularly musical at all, I loved this brief.
Taking inspiration from the name Isotropic (think isotopes, think tropical flowers), my logo and cover art design aimed include vintage aspects with a modern twist.
The font is edgy and has a sci-fi feel to it and the pop-art effect of the hibiscus flower evokes a '50s pop art feel, but this is juxtaposed by the vintage-style grainy textures applied over the image - something I feel ties together well to produce a fitting album cover given the nature of the label and what they want to convey with their branding.
